1. Driver’s Age and License Requirements
What conditions must the driver meet?
To rent a car in Cyprus, the driver must meet the following conditions:
be at least 23 years old;
have a valid category B driving license;
have at least 3 years of driving experience;
from the age of 25, the driver is considered an experienced driver.
Depending on the vehicle category, there may be additional conditions regarding age or driving experience. These conditions are communicated before confirming the reservation.
1. How does a car reservation work?
1. Submit the online reservation request
Fill out the reservation form with the rental period, contact details and requested information.
2. The request is analyzed within 24 hours at most
We check the availability of the vehicle and the information submitted through the form.
3. Wait for the booking confirmation
If you are not contacted within 24 hours, please contact us at the phone number displayed on the website or via WhatsApp, Viber or Telegram to check the status of your request.
If we are unable to contact you by phone, WhatsApp, Viber, Telegram or email, your booking request may be considered cancelled and does not represent a confirmed booking.
4. Booking confirmation
The booking is officially confirmed only after receiving the confirmation number from the manager.
To confirm your booking, you must send:
a copy of your driving license;
the necessary rental details;
the flight number, in case of picking up the car from Larnaca Airport.
Importan: Submitting an online request does not represent a confirmed booking. The booking is confirmed only after checking availability and receiving the confirmation number from the company.
2. Customer Responsibilities
By using the car hire service at Larnaca Airport, the customer agrees to:
- follow the rental contract terms and the traffic laws of the Republic of Cyprus;
- drive the car only on public roads, and only by the person listed in the rental contract (unless an additional driver is specified);
- not use the vehicle for commercial purposes, taxi services, or transporting passengers for a fee; avoid driving in snow areas, forests, or off-road terrain; not exceed the number of passengers allowed by the car’s seating capacity;
- never leave the car unattended or unlocked, and always park it in authorized parking spaces;
- notify the company immediately in case of an accident, call the police, and take all necessary measures to ensure safety.
It is strictly forbidden to leave the territory of the Republic of Cyprus without prior approval. Reservations apply to a vehicle class, not to a specific car model. Rates are valid only for bookings made online.
3. Rental Fees and Deposit
The total rental cost is specified in the rental agreement and can be paid using Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. A fully refundable deposit is required and will be returned at the end of the rental period, provided no damage has occurred. Legal entities can also pay via bank transfer.
4. Minimum Rental Period and Online Bookings
The minimum rental period is 2-3 days. Bookings can be made online or by phone. Please note: the email you receive after booking online is not a confirmation. A company representative will contact you to confirm vehicle availability.
5. Late Return and Contract Extension
If the vehicle is returned later than agreed, the following late fees apply:
- First hour: €5/hour.
- Next 3 hours: €7/hour.
- After 3 hours: a full-day rate is charged.
A delay of more than 4 hours without notifying the company (verbally or in writing) will result in the vehicle being reported as stolen to the police. Contract extensions are possible under the same terms and rates as the original agreement.
6. Company Obligations
The rental company agrees to provide the customer with a car in good technical condition, along with the necessary documents and keys, once the rental contract is signed.
7. Insurance and Road Taxes
Vehicles are offered with Third Party Liability Insurance (TPL) as per the conditions applicable in Cyprus.
Depending on the vehicle category and the protection package chosen, Collision Damage Waiver (CDW/DCW) and Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW) may be available.
The deductible and coverage conditions may vary depending on the vehicle category and the protection package chosen. Exact details are provided to the customer prior to confirmation of the booking and are included in the contract.
The rental fee may include technical inspection and road taxes, as per the conditions of the offer.
Additional services and options, including child seats, may be available upon request.
8. Out-of-Hours Service
A €20-25 surcharge applies to all rentals or returns made outside of normal working hours.
9. Cross-Border Rentals and Territorial Restrictions
Crossing the border outside the Republic of Cyprus is strictly prohibited. Crossing into Northern Cyprus is allowed only with prior written permission from the rental company.
